Common questions
Why don't you tutor other subjects?
Because doing one subject properly is hard enough. Every tutor, resource and rubric we use is built for VCE English and EAL.
Who are the tutors?
Registered English teachers and high-achieving graduates who studied English at university. Every tutor holds a current Working with Children Check.
How quickly will we see a difference?
Most students notice stronger essay structure and clearer contentions within about 4–6 weeks. Bigger jumps in study score build over a term or more.
Is marking included?
Tutoring includes feedback and guidance on homework drafts. Detailed line-by-line marking against the full VCAA rubric is a separate service — see Essay Marking, or choose Premium for the most one-on-one time.
Online or in person?
Both. Online sessions run statewide; in-person sessions are available in Melbourne. Many students mix the two.
What's the minimum commitment?
A 10-week block. Unused lesson credits are refundable if you need to stop.
